Carnival Camp Ocean Now Fleetwide

Carnival Cruise Line wrangles more than 800,000 kids a year. To engage those junior travelers, Carnival’s youth experience provides activities and entertainment for all kids, broken down into specific age groups.  Kid-friendly onboard programming includes 400 activities that range from educational games such as Marine Life Trivia and Ocean Bingo to crafts such as Fork Print Puffer Fish and Shark Art and active games.  Now, Carnival Camp Ocean is on all 26 ships in the fleet.

Age Groups

Camp Ocean welcomes youngsters with light blue and white underwater colored spaces and friendly, experienced staff who oversee activities for kids in three age groups – “Penguins (2-5), “Sting Rays” (6-8) and “Sharks” (9-11). Common areas such as a fun play area called Party Reef and Creative Cove, a breakout room for arts and crafts activities, are available on select ships.

Carnival ships also offer facilities and activities for kids in the 12- to 14-year-old set through its Circle “C” program and for 15- to 17-year-olds with Club O2.

LEARN MORE

One benefit of the Carnival Youth Program: Parents can register kids in advance of sailing.  Here are the details on that convenient option not offered by all cruise lines.

Pre-Registration Online
Families can register online for Camp Ocean, Circle ‘C’ and Club O2 before they start their cruise. By pre-registering, children and teens (6 months to 17 years of age) are able to participate in their respective youth programs once they arrive on board. Registering in no way obligates them to participate in any of the activities.

The deadline to register online is 24 hours prior to the departure date. If within 24 hours, a message will appear letting guests know that the pre-registration time has ended and that they must register their children and teens on board with the Youth Staff.

Once the booking is under deposit, guests can register on Carnival.com by accessing ‘Manage My Booking’. Under the ‘To-Do-List’, guests need to click on ‘Youth Program Registration’ and complete the online form. The form includes questions, whether the child or teen has food allergies, diet restrictions or special needs that our Youth Staff should be made aware of. If the answer is ‘yes’ to any of these, the form needs to be printed and given to the Youth Staff during the Youth Program Orientation on the first day of the cruise.
