Villa Vie Residences has officially announced the launch of Legacy, its second residential cruise ship set to enter service in early 2029. The exciting unveiling will take place during the two-year “Sailaversary” celebration of Villa Vie Odyssey, marking two years of continuous, successful world cruising.

The expansion comes as Odyssey reaches over 85% capacity. Designed as a premium sister ship, Legacy will feature accommodations that are roughly 50% larger, complemented by expanded dining, enhanced wellness facilities, and larger public spaces. Pricing and maintenance for Legacy are anticipated to be around 30% higher, reflecting its elevated residential experience. To reward loyal community members, Villa Vie confirmed that all current and future participants in the Endless Horizons lifetime residency program will automatically receive permanent residency rights on Legacy at no additional cost.

To solve the dilemma for prospective owners who want Legacy’s larger layouts but wish to avoid waiting three years to travel, Villa Vie introduced the Legacy Bridge Program. Commemorating Odyssey’s 24 months of continuous operation, exactly 24 bridge positions are available for purchases completed on or before September 30, 2026. This program gives buyers immediate residency aboard Odyssey, a guaranteed smooth transition to Legacy in 2029 without paying an additional purchase price, and the added benefit of locking in Odyssey’s lower maintenance rates aboard the new ship.
