Seabourn Pursuit To Visit South Pacific, Kimberley

Seabourn Pursuit, the newest ultra-luxury expedition ship from Seabourn, will embark on its first-ever expedition voyages to the South Pacific and the Kimberley region in 2024. The ship will sail between the islands of the South Pacific and the coast of Chile, as well as to Papua New Guinea and West Papua, Indonesia, and the Kimberley region in northern Australia.

The South Pacific itineraries will offer guests a wealth of opportunities for adventure, including exploring the remote Juan Fernandez Archipelago off the coast of Chile, visiting Easter Island, and visiting the remote and varied islands of the Pitcairn group. Guests will also have the chance to explore the incredible limestone formations of the Sawa-I-Lau Caves in Fiji, as well as the mysterious Ambrym Island and Pentecost Island of Vanuatu.

The Papua New Guinea and West Papua itineraries will take guests to some of the world’s most incredible snorkeling and diving destinations, including the Misool, Wayag, and Gam Islands in Indonesia. Guests will also have the chance to experience the unique culture of Papua New Guinea and West Papua, including visiting the village of Watam near the Ramu River and attending the sacred Baining Fire Dance at Rabaul.

The Kimberley itineraries will take guests to the remote and otherworldly landscapes of northernmost Western Australia. Guests will visit incredibly remote settings such as the Bungle Bungles, El Questro National Park, and the Ord River. They will also have the chance to explore King George Falls, the Horizontal Waterfalls, and Montgomery Reef.

All of Seabourn Pursuit’s expedition voyages will offer a variety of complimentary expedition experiences, including Zodiac cruising, scuba diving, snorkeling, and nature walks and hikes. Optional kayaking and submersible excursions will also be available.

Seabourn Pursuit is designed and built to PC6 Polar Class standards, making it capable of exploring the furthest corners of the world. The ship has close to 30,000 square feet of deck space and special touches at every turn, including indoor and outdoor guest areas with nearly 270-degree views.
