Royal Caribbean Encourages Check In On App At Home

Cruise travelers on Celebrity Cruises, Azamara Club Cruises and Royal Caribbean International are being encouraged to complete their own check-in via the mobile app. Doing so brings added perks, such as Expedited Arrival and much more. Here is how you do that.

Recommended: Download the app from the App Store or Google Play prior to your departure date. There is no cost for the app and it works with ship Wi-Fi even if you do not purchase a Wi-Fi package.  Basically, it comes to life once you are onboard.

There are three parts to check in:

  1. Enter contact information for sailing guests
  2. Scan your passport, upload a photo, and complete the other
requested fields to generate a SetSail Pass for each guest.
  3. Setup onboard expense account

This quick and easy process grants eligibility for the Expedited Arrival benefit to your clients and also supports mobile boarding passes, where applicable.

Should you prefer not to download the app on your Mobile device, the Guest Self Check-in process can also be completed by accessing
the cruise brand’s website. Oh and here’s a little look to the future: cruise lines will not use luggage tags but your luggage will be waiting for you in your stateroom by the time you can walk there. More in about three years.
