- Inaugural Prestige-Class Flagship: Seven Seas Prestige will debut in December 2026, marking Regent’s first new ship class in ten years
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has unveiled a magnificent crystal light installation that will serve as the luminous centerpiece aboard Seven Seas Prestige when the ultra-luxury vessel debuts in December 2026. Representing the cruise line’s first brand-new ship class in a decade, the 76,550-ton flagship introduces an architectural showpiece that blends centuries-old European craftsmanship with cutting-edge lighting design and engineering.

Suspended within the soaring, multi-story Starlight Atrium, the monumental sculpture rises through eleven decks along the central spiral staircase. Created in close collaboration with renowned Czech crystal house Preciosa Lighting and Miami-based interior design firm Studio DADO, the contemporary reimagining of a traditional chandelier incorporates more than 300 individually handcrafted Bohemian crystal rods sourced directly from the Czech Republic’s historic Crystal Valley. The artwork is engineered with programmable illumination that subtly alters in tone, brilliance, and warmth throughout the day to mirror the changing ocean ambiance.
Each evening at 6:25 p.m., the sculpture takes center stage for Lumière, Regent’s first-ever sound-and-light performance. This signature daily ritual choreographs fluid lighting movements to a bespoke orchestral arrangement, signaling the elegant transition from daytime cruising to an evening of fine dining and entertainment. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the spectacle from multiple tiers across the atrium, including the adjacent Galileo’s Bar. By harmonizing timeless artistry with modern spectacle, Seven Seas Prestige sets a radiant new benchmark for ultra-luxury ocean travel.
