Scheduled for completion in November 2027, this ambitious project is designed to accommodate the cruise industry’s largest vessel class, welcoming ships capable of hosting up to 6,700 passengers. Designed by the renowned Miami architectural firm Bermello Ajamil, the reimagined terminal will expand by nearly 30 percent, totaling over 145,000 square feet. The updated design introduces a sleek glass façade that floods the interior with natural sunlight, alongside vibrant modern artwork and bright aesthetic elements. Beyond visual upgrades, Orlando-based PCL Construction Services, Inc. is integrating significant functional improvements. Guests can expect streamlined security screening checkpoints, expanded luggage handling areas, new elevators and escalators, modernized HVAC systems, and intuitive directional signage.
