Jetty Park is undergoing a spectacular transformation, and the community recently gathered for a vibrant “Party in the Park” celebration to unveil two major family-friendly upgrades. Coinciding with Flag Day, the grand opening event drew hundreds of enthusiastic visitors who enjoyed delicious food, engaging games, exciting giveaways, and a firsthand look at the brand-new beach pavilion and playground. As an incredibly popular coastal destination that attracts 400,000 visitors annually, these fresh additions are part of an ambitious, ongoing multi-million-dollar renovation project designed to elevate the entire guest experience.

The newly minted beachside pavilion offers a spacious, covered structure equipped with picnic-style seating and modern restrooms. In a clever nod to local culinary culture, the pavilion features dedicated electrical connections to host up to three rotating local food trucks each day, providing beachgoers with an ever-changing variety of dining options. Just steps away, the state-of-the-art playground is designed for year-round enjoyment. It boasts multiple slides, climbing bars, soft turf surfacing, and integrated shade structures to keep children cool under the sun. Reflecting a commitment to inclusivity, the playground also incorporates accessible ADA elements so every child can join the fun.

These beautiful new amenities represent the latest chapter in a sweeping park-wide revitalization that launched last summer with the debut of a 2.7 million dollar camp store. The future looks even brighter for this beloved destination, with a lineup of upcoming enhancements that will continue to roll out. Visitors can look forward to upgraded guest cabins, a dedicated dog park, refreshed bathhouses, and improved roadways with better lighting. Outdoor enthusiasts will also appreciate the planned paving of RV and camping sites, along with upcoming renovations to the Rodney S. Ketcham Boat Ramp, ensuring top-tier recreation for everyone.
