First Look: Viking Expeditions

Set to sail in January 2022, Viking has new expedition ships coming that will sail the Arctic, Canada & The Great Lakes and Antarctica. These artist renderings of the new Viking Expedition vessels show us a number of features familiar to fans of the line.

Viking Expedition vessels are custom-built Polar Class 6 ships which include features popular with their loyal, well-traveled guests:

To be named Viking Octantis and Viking Polaris both carry just 378 guests and are sized and built for expeditions. Featured design elements include straight bows, longer hulls and not one but two types of stabilizers to enable the calmest possible journey.
