Abercrombie & Kent (A&K), a global luxury travel firm, is marking its 35th year in expedition cruising with the launch of three new voyages for 2026. These itineraries will take travelers to the rugged coasts of the British Isles, the pristine Arctic wilderness of Svalbard, and the sun-drenched archipelagos of French Polynesia. Designed for immersive discovery and unparalleled comfort, these journeys underscore A&K’s renowned expertise. These additions expand A&K’s 2026-2027 portfolio, which features 15 expedition cruises spanning the Arctic, Antarctica, Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and remote Pacific islands.

Stefan Kredel, A&K’s Vice-president for expedition cruising, highlighted that these voyages draw on over three decades of expertise to explore routes far beyond typical cruise paths, offering transformative adventures in rarely visited locations, all with A&K’s signature style. What was once a basic way to observe wildlife has been elevated to a luxury adventure.

The new 2026 voyages include:
- Exploring the Wild Coasts of the British Isles (May 26 – June 5): Aboard Le Champlain, this expedition starts in Portsmouth and covers Guernsey’s WWII history, the Isles of Scilly’s gardens, Welsh coast puffin watching, Scottish Hebrides hikes, Orkney whisky tasting, and Zodiac excursions to lesser-known sites.
- An Arctic Wildlife Expedition in Svalbard (July 3-11): On Le Lyrial, this journey north of the Arctic Circle explores glaciers, tundra, and seeks out wildlife like walruses, reindeer, and arctic foxes with naturalist guides via Zodiac, all under the midnight sun.
- Cruising French Polynesia: Tahiti and Beyond (September 18 – October 4): Aboard Le Jacques-Cartier, this cruise delves into the cultures and untouched islands of the Tuamotus and Marquesas, featuring local crafts, archaeological sites, pearl farms, and snorkeling.
Each voyage is enhanced by A&K’s acclaimed Expedition Team, whose deep expertise ensures every journey is both enlightening and extraordinary.
