Emerald Cruises Debuts Asia River Itinerary

Emerald Cruises has opened the books on their 2024-2025 Mekong River cruise season through Cambodia and Vietnam. The line has expanded the sailing season to offer more options to guests looking to explore the beauty and history of the Mekong region.

New this season is a 10-day Meandering Majestic Mekong itinerary between Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh. This itinerary takes a more relaxed pace and includes extra time in Cambodia, continuing northeast past the capital city. Guests can also opt for the classic eight-day Majestic Mekong, which sails between Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh.

  • Emerald Harmony is the smallest ship in Emerald Cruises’ fleet, with only 84 guests.
  • The ship features spacious cabins, a pool, and an Asian-themed Horizon Bar & Lounge.
  • Emerald Cruises offers a variety of cruise and land tour options, including:
    • Wonders of Vietnam, Cambodia & the Mekong (13- or 15 days)
    • Treasures & Temples of Vietnam & Cambodia (17- or 19 days)
    • Grand Tour of Vietnam & Cambodia (21- or 23 days)
  • The Meandering Majestic Mekong itinerary sails exclusively in August, September, and October, during the region’s less crowded “green season.”
  • The itinerary includes an additional port of call in Angkor Ban, a remote village where guests can explore the hundred-year-old wooden houses that survived the Khmer Rouge.
  • The Emerald Harmony is designed to allow access to the center of Ho Chi Minh City, meaning guests will disembark in the center of the action rather than needing to be coached in from outside the city.
