Cruise Lines Build More Small Ships, Faster

First in a series of articles exploring travel on small ships.

Experienced travelers who may have started their cruise history on big ships and never looked back are opting to sail on smaller ships, for a number of reasons. Hundreds of passengers compared to thousands, more of what they want included in the price and a more adult-focused experience are rather universal reasons to go small. Cruise lines seem certain of this as well, building small ships as fast as they can to keep up with the demand. Not new to small ships at all, Celebrity Cruises is here with Celebrity Flora, the first ship designed specifically for the beautiful Galapagos Islands.
