Celebrity Cruises has officially unveiled the dramatic transformation of the Celebrity Solstice following a massive 50 million dollar revitalization project. Originally built 18 years ago, the beloved vessel has effectively been reverse-aged into a modern masterpiece, relaunching just in time to inaugurate the highly anticipated Alaska cruise season with a premier seven-day voyage out of Seattle.

The extensive multi-million dollar glow-up introduces five brand-new onboard venues that completely redefine the guest experience. Entertainment options have expanded with the addition of Sunset Park, the Boulevard Lounge game show space, and The Parlor, a high-energy games and sports bar concept featuring Skee-Ball, foosball, board games, and multi-screen sports viewings paired with boozy milkshakes. Culinary enthusiasts can indulge in two new specialty dining options: Trattoria Rossa, serving upscale Italian favorites, and Fine Cut Steakhouse, which delivers premium dry-aged meats, fresh seafood, and signature comfort sides like gruyere tater tots against a backdrop of sweeping ocean views through floor-to-ceiling windows.
A significant portion of the renovation budget was dedicated to elevating guest accommodations. Every single one of the ship’s 1,425 existing staterooms received standard upgrades including fresh carpeting, new bedding, plush sofas, and modern lighting systems, while 54 completely new cabins were structurally added to the vessel. These fresh accommodations seamlessly complement the ship’s timeless, award-winning original architecture, such as the stunning multi-deck central atrium stretching from the Grand Foyer up to deck 14. With its pristine public spaces, expanded dining menus, and quiet daytime relaxation lounges, the beautifully refreshed ship is fully prepared to deliver an elite, modern vacation experience throughout its scenic northern deployment.
