Beyond its artistic contributions, the Hotel Sacher is famous for the Original Sacher-Torte, a culinary icon created by Franz Sacher in 1832. Each cake is still handcrafted today using thirty-four precise steps. The hotel remains one of the few privately owned, family-run five-star superior properties in the world and continues to earn prestigious accolades, including a spot on the list of the world’s fifty best hotels.
