This premier event will gather the nation’s elite inline and quad speed skaters, as well as artistic skating competitors, all vying for national titles and a combined $19,000 in prize money.

The championship features a packed schedule for both disciplines. Speed skating events are scheduled from June 17-22, encompassing inline practice, time trials, individual age group races, and relays. Highlights include the Rookie Time Trials and the lucrative Inline Race of Champions on June 20, which boasts a $10,000 purse. Quad speed skating events will follow, culminating in the Quad Race of Champions on June 22 with a $3,000 purse.

Lisa Dunham, Director of Sports for American Roller Sports, praised Union as an excellent host city and highlighted the collaborative efforts to attract a new generation of skaters. She also announced that the event will honor the 2025 Society of Roller Skating Teachers of America award winners: Sylvia Haffke (Artistic Skating Teacher of the Year), Chris Hummer (Speed Skating Teacher of the Year), and Amy Bohlen (Learn to Skate Teacher of the Year).

The artistic skating portion of the championships will run from June 26 to July 3. It will feature various divisions including

  • Adult (June 26-28),

  • “C” Division for youth and adults (June 29-30)
  • Youth divisions from Juvenile to Senior levels (July 1-3), covering events like figures, loops, dance, freestyle, and creative categories.

In a move to support club participation, the top three figure skating clubs with the largest number of skaters in the combined “B” and “C” divisions will receive cash prizes: $3,000 for first place, $2,000 for second, and $1,000 for third. The event will also continue to innovate with real-time digital timing systems and initiatives focused on youth engagement and coaching development.
