Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy (AKP) achieved its most impactful year to date in 2025, reaching nearly 550,000 individuals through various global initiatives. The organization raised $3.3 million to fund 80 active projects across 27 countries, representing a growth of 14 projects and four additional countries compared to the previous year. According to the 2025 Global Impact Report, AKP focuses on creating long-term, sustainable benefits for local communities rather than delivering short-term aid.

The organization utilizes a team of 17 Impact Managers who reside in the regions where projects operate, fostering strong local relationships and ensuring effective implementation. Key 2025 highlights include feeding over 7,200 children daily across several African nations, providing $800,000 in medical equipment to facilities in Uganda and Zambia, and improving clean water access for more than 6,400 students. Furthermore, the organization distributed over 1,600 bicycles to support women-owned enterprises.

Specific projects detailed in the report demonstrate the breadth of AKP’s mission. In the Peruvian Amazon, the organization partnered with the Nueva Arica community to develop sustainable bio-businesses focusing on honey, fiber, and fruit production. Educational efforts included the construction of a new library in Kenya’s Maasai Mara, which provided hundreds of books to students. Additionally, in Jordan, AKP supported vocational training for young women to help them build entrepreneurial skills. The organization emphasizes that 100 percent of donations from guests go directly to the projects being supported, which are further bolstered by contributions from the A&K Travel Group and global partners. By working alongside local populations, AKP aims to cultivate conditions for permanent, positive change in some of the most isolated regions of the world.
