Zac Brown is collaborating with Margaritaville at Sea to introduce “Same Boat,” a new live music venue set to debut on the cruise line’s forthcoming ‘Beachcomber’ ship. This project is significant as it represents the first artist-curated music venue at sea. The name “Same Boat” pays homage to a 2021 Zac Brown Band song which featured Jimmy Buffett, connecting the new space to the Margaritaville founder.
The ‘Beachcomber’ is poised to become the largest ship in the Margaritaville at Sea fleet and is scheduled for its inaugural voyage from Miami in January 2027. The “Same Boat” venue will be the largest live music space on the ship, providing passengers with live entertainment and cocktails.

Zac Brown is actively involved in the curation process, influencing the venue’s design, artwork, and music programming to reflect his personal style and musical influences. Brown expressed his goal to create a space with an “easygoing energy” where people can connect, enjoy music, and feel a sense of freedom.
To promote the collaboration, the cruise line has initiated the “Fly & Float Ultimate Giveaway.” Winners will receive tickets to see the Zac Brown Band’s Las Vegas residency at the Sphere in January 2026 and a trip on the ‘Beachcomber’s’ first sailing in January 2027. The article also mentions Brown’s upcoming Las Vegas shows, which will explore his personal journey, and the band’s new album, “Love and Fear,” releasing on December 5.
