Wyndham Rewards Expands Member-Only Event Access

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is significantly enhancing its Wyndham Rewards program by introducing new partnerships and an experiential platform. A key development is an industry-first collaboration with Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar®, which will allow Wyndham Rewards members to earn points and receive free delivery on mobile To Go orders placed through the Wyndham app while staying at any Hotel by Wyndham. This feature is slated to launch later this year.

Furthermore, Wyndham Rewards is launching “Wyndham Rewards Experiences,” a new platform offering members exclusive access to a variety of events and activities. This platform, accessible at WyndhamRewards.com/Experiences, allows members to use their points for dynamic auctions or fixed-point rewards. Experiences range from VIP tickets to sold-out concerts like the Vans Warped Tour and Country Jam, to unique sports opportunities such as riding a Zamboni at a New York Rangers game or playing in a PGA TOUR pro-am. Other offerings include tickets to the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes and throwing the first pitch at a Minor League Baseball game. Bidding for auction items starts between 20,000 and 100,000 points, while fixed-point rewards begin at 2,500 points. New experiences will be added weekly.

These initiatives aim to provide members with more value and engaging ways to use their points, both during travel and in their daily lives. Michael Shiwdin, GVP of Loyalty & Partnerships at Wyndham, emphasized that these additions are focused on making Wyndham Rewards the best hotel rewards program by offering unique access and rewarding everyday activities. This expansion follows other recent program enhancements, including a co-branded debit card, expanded points + cash redemption options, and the Wyndham Rewards Travel Bundles platform for booking various travel components.
