Windstar Cruises has opened bookings for its 2027 Europe voyages aboard the Star Explorer, the second new all-suite yacht joining its fleet. This intimate vessel, accommodating just 224 guests, is set to offer year-round cruises in Europe, with its inaugural full season running through March 2028. The Star Explorer will debut in December 2026, followed by a christening on London’s River Thames on May 31, 2027.

Designed for immersive, port-intensive experiences, the Star Explorer features a variety of classic and new itineraries. Highlights include a circumnavigation of Ireland and a “Seven Gems of the Baltic” itinerary, which visits seven countries in eight nights. The ship’s smaller size allows it to navigate into exclusive locations like Rouen, Caen, Bordeaux, and even central London, providing closer access to cities and longer stays in port. It will also make Windstar’s first call to Puerto Banús in Spain and return to culinary hotspots like San Sebastián.

Onboard, the Star Explorer offers 112 spacious suites, many with full verandas or infinity windows, and includes amenities such as the Yacht Club Café and a watersports marina. Guests can enjoy a relaxed, upscale ambiance with Windstar’s signature friendly crew. Early booking rates are available through November 15, 2025, with an additional 5% discount for guests who choose the “Pay Now, Save More” option.
