Uniworld Unveils Four New Super Ships, Six Journeys

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is embarking on its most extensive expansion to date, introducing a spectacular collection of four new ships and six captivating itineraries set to launch in 2027. This exciting growth marks a transformation for the brand into a fully Super Ship fleet, promising unparalleled luxury and adventure across the globe.

Three of the additions are brand-new Super Ship builds: the S.S. Audrey and S.S. Marlene, named after screen legends Audrey Hepburn and Marlene Dietrich, and the S.S. São Rafael, which will expand voyages on Portugal’s scenic Douro River. The ships will showcase elegant, cinematic glamour while seamlessly integrating local European stories onboard. The fourth vessel, the sleek expedition yacht Aqua Blu, will enable Uniworld’s exclusive debut in Singapore and Indonesia, offering intimate access to untouched waters and islands like Komodo National Park.

The six new itineraries feature a wonderful blend of unique offerings, including the Limited-Edition Collection voyage “Bali, Singapore & Indonesia Expedition” and several enticing European river journeys. Highlights include “Paris, Prague & Germany’s Hidden Gems,” sailing the Rhine and Moselle Rivers, and the extended “Grand Highlights of the Danube” adventure. These voyages emphasize cultural immersion, longer stays, and exceptional value, delivering signature five-star cuisine and service with the highest staff-to-guest ratio in the industry.

S.S. Audrey: Inspired by Audrey Hepburn

This brand-new Super Ship is a new build that channels the timeless glamour of European-born Audrey Hepburn, with interiors that bring cinematic style to the rivers of Europe. 

S.S. Marlene: Inspired by Marlene Dietrich

Honoring Marlene Dietrich, this new build reflects her European roots and star power with luxe, cinematic interiors that echo her iconic style. 

  • Grand Highlights of the Danube: 16 nights sailing the Danube, from Austria’s Wachau Valley to Budapest, including a private classical music evening in Vienna, exploring Passau’s three rivers, and cycling excursions through scenic landscapes.

S.S. São Rafael: Expanding the Douro River Fleet

A brother ship to the S.S. São Gabriel, named to honor Portugal’s maritime history. In Vasco da Gama’s first voyage to India in 1497, São Gabriel served as the flagship, while São Rafael sailed alongside under the command of Paulo da Gama.
