Virgin Voyages is preparing to host its third annual U.S. Comedy Fest at Sea aboard the Valiant Lady. The five-night, adults-only cruise is scheduled to sail round-trip from New York City to Bermuda between April 11 and April 16, 2026. For this year’s event, the cruise line has partnered with Don’t Tell Comedy, a prominent live stand-up organization recognized for organizing intimate, surprise-style performances in unconventional locations.

Don’t Tell Comedy serves as the official curator for the festival, bringing its signature grassroots format to a maritime setting. The event will be headlined by Shapel Lacey, a high-energy Los Angeles-based comedian, and Tacarra Williams, a former educator known for her bold and unfiltered comedic style. In addition to the headliners, the lineup features ten breakout comedians, including Emma Willmann, Eva Evans, and Usama Siddiquee, among others. Over the course of the voyage, these performers will engage in meet-and-greets, unexpected pop-up shows, and interactive experiences across multiple venues on the ship.

This collaboration reflects Virgin Voyages’ ongoing investment in specialized, culturally relevant entertainment offerings. Company representatives emphasize that the festival format aims to foster shared experiences and connection among passengers by combining New York’s stand-up comedy culture with a premium cruise environment. The integration of live comedy extends beyond this specific festival, as the cruise line continues to add rotating stand-up acts and dedicated comedy venues across its fleet. Following the April sailing from New York, Virgin Voyages plans to host a UK Comedy Fest in August 2026, continuing its commitment to live performance programming at sea.
