Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is set for a significant summer 2025 season, having invested heavily in new and newly revitalized ships to enhance guest experiences in popular destinations like Alaska, Europe, the Caribbean, and Bermuda. NCL President David J. Herrera emphasized the value of cruising, allowing travelers to unpack once and explore multiple destinations.

In Alaska, NCL will operate its youngest fleet, with five ships, including the recently renovated Breakaway-Plus class ships Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Encore, and Norwegian Joy, all custom-built for Alaskan cruising. Norwegian Bliss now features the new Horizon Park outdoor venue. Norwegian Encore and Norwegian Joy boast refreshed spaces like Spice H2O and expanded Thermal Suites. NCL offers numerous seven-day round-trip cruises from Seattle on Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Encore, and nine to 10-day itineraries on Norwegian Joy, plus extensive Cruisetour options for deeper exploration.

For Europe, NCL offers over 150 port-immersive itineraries on eight ships, including the newly renovated Norwegian Breakaway (with the new Silver Screen Bistro and Horizon Park) and Norwegian Epic (with a reimagined Kids’ Aqua Park and expanded Vibe Beach Club). These ships will sail various Mediterranean routes. Additionally, NCL’s newest ships, Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva, will cover Baltic, Northern Europe, and Greek Isles itineraries.

The Caribbean and Bermuda will see the debut of NCL’s newest ship, Norwegian Aqua, featuring first-of-its-kind attractions like the Aqua Slidecoaster and Glow Court. Norwegian Aqua will offer seven-day Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral, then Bermuda voyages from New York, before returning to Miami for Eastern Caribbean sailings. Enhancements are also coming to NCL’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay, in late 2025. Norwegian Getaway and Norwegian Jewel will also offer Bermuda itineraries.
