MSC Cruises confirmed that the upcoming ship, MSC World Asia, will launch in December 2026 featuring the largest MSC Yacht Club in the company’s history. This exclusive “ship-within-a-ship” area will span over 9,900 square meters on the foredecks and offer 144 suites. The Yacht Club provides premium services, including 24-hour butler and concierge service, a private restaurant and lounge, and a two-tier sundeck.

A new accommodation category, the Royal Duplex Suite, will debut on this vessel. This two-level suite is 53 square meters, features a spiral staircase, and can accommodate up to six guests. It includes two bedrooms, a large living room, two marble bathrooms, and an 11-square-meter private balcony equipped with a whirlpool bath. This new option is designed to allow larger groups and families to enjoy the exclusive benefits of the Yacht Club while maintaining access to the ship’s wider entertainment and dining venues.
The 215,000-gross-ton ship will reflect Asian cultural influences in its design and will be organized into seven distinct themed onboard districts. MSC World Asia will begin sailing seven-night Mediterranean itineraries on December 4, 2026, with ports of call including Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples, Messina, and Valletta. The ship will offer year-round Mediterranean cruises through the winter 2026/27 and summer 2027 seasons.
