Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is celebrating the arrival of the stunning Norwegian Aqua to its new homeport in Miami, kicking off an exhilarating season of seven-day Caribbean and Bahamas voyages that will run through April 2026. This newest ship in the NCL fleet is significantly larger than its sister ships, Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva, boasting a 10 percent increase in size and capacity, ensuring a wealth of exciting activities and ample space for every guest.

The Norwegian Aqua is a paradise for families and thrill-seekers, featuring the longest and fastest slides at sea, including the groundbreaking Aqua Slidecoaster, a hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide. The ship also introduces the Glow Court, an interactive digital sports complex that seamlessly transforms into a nightclub, alongside a revamped Aqua Game Zone offering modern virtual reality and classic arcade experiences. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor activity complex The Stadium and the thrilling The Drop dry slide.

Every itinerary includes a visit to NCL’s exclusive private island, Great Stirrup Cay, which is undergoing impressive enhancements. By late 2025, the island will feature a brand-new pier and a massive 28,000 square-foot heated pool. Even more exciting, the all-new Great Tides Waterpark, a nearly six-acre aquatic wonderland, is set to debut in summer 2026. Beyond the fun, the Norwegian Aqua offers an array of relaxation options, including the Vibe Beach Club and the indulgent Mandara Spa and Salon. With 17 restaurants, 18 bars and lounges, and a stellar entertainment lineup, including “Revolution: A Celebration of Prince,” the Norwegian Aqua promises a delightful and unforgettable tropical escape.
