This impressive figure, announced by Secretary of Tourism Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, represents steady year-over-year growth and an increase of 0.2 percent compared to pre-pandemic levels in 2019. The nation welcomed 16,571,000 air arrivals, nearly $00,000 more than during the same period in 2024.

The United States continued to be the main source of travelers, with 11.157 million visitors, an increase of 62,000 over 2024 and 26.7 percent more than in 2019. Canada also showed strong momentum, contributing 2,079,000 visitors, an 11.4 percent increase from 2024 and 18.1 percent higher than pre-pandemic figures. The United Kingdom completed the top three countries of origin, with 372,061 travelers arriving, marking a 3.2 percent increase.
