Oceania Cruises officially christened its newest vessel, the Oceania Allura, during a dazzling ceremony held pierside in Miami on November 14, 2025. The Allura, which is the eighth ship in the line’s fleet and sister ship to the Oceania Vista, has a maximum capacity for 1,200 guests. It is distinguished by having some of the most spacious standard staterooms at sea, each measuring more than 290 square feet.

In a first-of-its-kind christening, the ship’s godparents were the collective Food & Wine Best New Chefs franchise, represented by six acclaimed culinary figures including Tavel Bristol-Joseph and Katie Button. The ceremony, which included the traditional breaking of a Champagne bottle on the bow, celebrated the luxury line’s deep commitment to culinary excellence and its partnership with Food & Wine magazine.
The Oceania Allura features 12 onboard dining experiences. A completely new concept is the Crêperie, which offers a selection of French crêpes, Bruxelles waffles, and gelato sundaes. The classic French restaurant, Jacques (named for Chef Jacques Pépin), features an updated menu resulting from a collaboration between Chef Pépin and the line’s current Master Chefs of France. The ship maintains an exceptional crew-to-guest ratio, with two crew members for every three guests, half of whom are dedicated to culinary operations. The Allura‘s inaugural season will span more than 92 destinations on voyages ranging from 7 to 34 days.
