Emirates Skywards is enhancing its celebrated loyalty program by introducing a highly requested feature for its more than 35 million members. Travelers can now redeem their Skywards Miles for flight rewards in the airline’s popular and award-winning Premium Economy cabin. This exciting development allows members to book full flight tickets, known as Classic Rewards, or secure Upgrade Rewards from Economy Class, making the elevated travel experience more accessible. This initiative underscores the program’s dedication to offering members superior value and more diverse travel options.

The redemption rates are designed to be appealing, with one-way upgrades starting from as few as 7,020 Miles and full one-way tickets available from 15,000 Miles. The launch follows strong positive feedback and high demand for using miles on this cabin, particularly on long-haul flights to destinations like London, Sydney, and New York. The Emirates Premium Economy experience is a step above, featuring dedicated airport check-in desks, luxurious cream-colored leather seats with up to 40 inches of pitch, enhanced meal services, and one of the largest inflight entertainment screens in its class.

To meet the growing demand, Emirates is in the midst of a US$5 billion retrofit program to install the new cabin across its fleet. By early 2026, the airline plans to offer Premium Economy on routes to 68 cities, significantly increasing the availability of this comfortable and stylish way to travel.
