Emirates is currently implementing an extensive expansion of its cabin experiences and Premium Economy services across its international network to ensure a high level of consistency for passengers. The airline has established a goal to increase its Premium Economy availability to 99 points worldwide by the conclusion of 2026. This objective is being met through a dedicated aircraft retrofit program that involves updating several different types of aircraft within the fleet. A primary focus of this program is the reconfiguration of the airline’s high-density, two-class A380 aircraft. These planes are being converted into a three-class layout that features 76 Business Class seats, 56 Premium Economy seats, and 437 Economy Class seats. The first aircraft to complete this transformation is scheduled to serve the route between Dubai and Amman starting in mid-April 2026, after which it will move to Prague in June. The airline expects to have all 15 of its two-class A380s retrofitted by November 2026.

Beyond the A380 fleet, the airline is also deploying retrofitted Boeing 777s and new A350 aircraft to various regions including Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. New York JFK will see the introduction of a four-class retrofitted A380 with daily service beginning in June. Zurich is set to receive a substantial increase in weekly Premium Economy seating capacity. Furthermore, the airline plans to introduce retrofitted Boeing 777-200LR aircraft on routes to Milan, Dublin, Ho Chi Minh City, and Mauritius throughout the year. The new A350 aircraft will begin operations to Entebbe in late March, while Basra will receive retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER service in May. These deployments reflect the airline’s commitment to providing modern amenities and improved comfort to its global customer base. Travelers can book these updated services via the airline’s website, mobile app, or travel agents.
