Oceania Cruises announced its first-ever full winter season of Mediterranean sailings for the 2027-2028 season aboard the new ship, Oceania Allura. This collection comprises 17 voyages ranging from 9 to 26 days, designed to offer travelers a more thoughtful and unhurried way to experience major European and North African destinations during the cooler months.

The winter itineraries, spanning from Barcelona to Istanbul, focus on providing a different pace compared to the summer high season. Oceania Cruises, a culinary- and destination-focused luxury line, emphasized that the cooler season allows guests to experience local culture more intimately, including visiting quiet museums, enjoying local holiday traditions like Christmas markets, and savoring the regional winter cuisine, which shifts from light tapas to hearty stews and mulled wine. Ports of call will feature extended days and overnight stays to allow deeper exploration.
Highlighted voyages include a 14-day Christmas sailing from Barcelona to Rome, featuring stops in Spain, North Africa (Casablanca, Tangier), and Sicily, allowing guests to visit festive markets. Another notable cruise includes a 9-day voyage from Istanbul to Rome, which features an overnight stay in Istanbul and calls at various Greek and Italian ports. Onboard enrichment activities include hands-on cooking classes at the Culinary Center and workshops at the Artist Loft.
