Centara Hotels & Resorts has officially entered the Nepalese market with the opening of the Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara, part of The Centara Collection. Located in the hills of Kaskikot, approximately 35 minutes from Pokhara, this property represents the Thai operator’s first venture into the Himalayan region. The resort is positioned as a secluded retreat that emphasizes a connection with nature and local culture, offering guests views of Machhapuchhre and access to the Sarangkot Loop Trail.

The resort features 42 accommodations, including rooms, suites, and villas that range in size from 75 to 128 square meters. The design incorporates natural wooden tones and traditional Nepali aesthetic elements. Each unit provides private outdoor space, such as gardens or balconies, with specific suites and villas offering separate living areas and private pools. This boutique scale is intended to provide a personalized experience for couples, families, and small executive groups.
Wellness and dining are central to the resort’s offerings. Facilities include a spa with an infrared sauna, yoga sessions, and an outdoor swimming pool with mountain views. The culinary program is diverse, featuring The Bistro for international and Nepalese dishes, and Chulo, a Pan-Asian restaurant with regional influences. Additionally, the property provides a tea house and a cocktail venue named Summit. Beyond the resort grounds, guests can participate in cultural village walks or adventure sports like paragliding and trekking. To celebrate the debut, the company has launched a promotional offer for early guests, signaling its commitment to growing its portfolio of unique, culturally significant destinations.
