The Celebrity Xcel, the fifth vessel in Celebrity Cruises’ Edge Series, has officially arrived in Fort Lauderdale and commenced its inaugural season of seven-night Caribbean itineraries. The ship’s design and features were uniquely shaped by input gathered from global vacationers through the “Xcel Dream Makers” program, which directly involved guests in finalizing culinary, entertainment, and design experiences.

The ship debuts seven new experiences, including The Bazaar, a three-story space intended to merge the ship and destination experience. The Bazaar features destination-inspired dining venues (Mosaic and Spice Cafe), a marketplace for local artisan products, four unique festivals per itinerary, and immersive entertainment. The Celebrity Xcel also introduces a “New Era of Culinary Excellence,” supported by a robust roster of global culinary leaders, including Celebrity’s culinary ambassador Chef Daniel Boulud and Godmother Janaína Torres (World’s Best Female Chef 2024).

Dining enhancements feature Bora, a rooftop Mediterranean restaurant with panoramic views, offering a boozy brunch with a Bloody Mary bar by day and intimate chef-led tableside dining by night. Wellness facilities are expanded with The Spa’s first-ever Hydra Room and an outdoor Vitamin D Deck. For relaxation, the Celebrity Pool Club offers elevated poolside luxury, including new pool valet service, increased shading, and VIP private cabanas. Following its Caribbean debut, the Celebrity Xcel will launch its European season in Summer 2026.
