In response to increasing demand for travel to Egypt, river cruise line AmaWaterways has introduced a new optional three-night post-cruise land package in Alexandria. Launching in September 2025, this extension is designed to enrich its popular “Secrets of Egypt & the Nile” itinerary, offering guests a deeper exploration of the historic coastal city.

Travelers will explore significant Alexandrian sites, including Roman antiquities, ancient catacombs, the 15th-century Citadel of Qaitbay, and the Coptic pilgrimage destination of Wadi El Natrun.
