Silversea has officially begun its highly anticipated 2026 and 2027 Antarctica season with the inaugural departures of Silver Endeavour from King George Island and Silver Wind from Puerto Williams, Chile. Running through March 2027, the luxury expedition brand will operate forty diverse voyages across three specialized vessels, Silver Endeavour, Silver Wind, and Silver Cloud. Ranging from six to twenty-one nights, these immersive itineraries allow adventurous travelers to explore the icy wonders of the Antarctic Peninsula alongside wildlife-rich destinations such as South Georgia and the Falkland Islands.

A centerpiece of this season is the debut of The Cormorant at 55 South in Puerto Williams, recognized as the southernmost hotel on Earth. Officially opening on November 5, 2026, with early previews already underway, this property serves as a gateway for twenty-nine Antarctica Fly Cruise voyages. Guests on these itineraries enjoy private charter flights from Santiago featuring three-course meals, bypassing or pairing sea crossings of the Drake Passage with convenient air connections. At the hotel, Silversea expedition specialists lead kayaking excursions on the Beagle Channel, naturalist hikes across Navarino Island, and Patagonian horseback rides, complemented by regional cuisine at the Latitude 55 restaurant and local wines at Bar Sur. Meanwhile, eleven traditional sea voyages will cross the Drake Passage in both directions, including holiday sailings, deep expeditions south of the Antarctic Circle, and an extended twenty-one-night journey concluding in Buenos Aires.
