Vilnius’ leading contemporary MO Museum has launched a groundbreaking international exhibition titled How to Feel Real. Art, Technology and Us, exploring how rapid technological advancements shape our perception of reality. Developed in close collaboration with Germany’s renowned ZKM Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, the showcase brings together landmark installations from more than forty visionary artists. Rather than leaning into simple techno-optimism or pessimism, the collection invites visitors to examine the blurred boundaries between human experiences and digital mediation through interactive environments, early computer art, and modern artificial intelligence pieces.

Adding a uniquely playful touch to the opening program, Poland’s viral humanoid robot influencer, Edward Warchocki, joined museum visitors to interact with the artwork and ponder what it truly means to be alive. Built on a advanced humanoid platform by Warsaw-based MERA Robotics, Warchocki navigated the gallery spaces alongside pieces from legendary media artists like Nam June Paik. By pairing thought-provoking contemporary works with such unexpected guest appearances, the exhibition successfully sparks important conversations about modern identity, automation, and our deep-seated desire to find humanity within machines.
