Ambassador Renames Its Cruise Drinks Packages

  • Clearer Tier Names: Ambassador renamed its adult options to Non-Alcoholic, Classic, and Premium to make package levels instantly understandable.
  • Benefits Remain Unchanged: The transition involves a simple name change only, preserving all existing drink selections, discounts, and terms.
  • Gratuities Included: All three adult beverage bundles continue to bundle daily service tips and gratuities into the core price.
  • Consistent Booking Rules: Pre-purchase discounts remain available up to a week before departure, with standard cabin-wide purchase policies applying

Ambassador Cruise Line has officially updated the names of its three adult beverage bundles to make selections much simpler and more transparent for guests. Taking effect in September 2026, the refresh applies straightforward new titles while keeping the underlying structure, daily rates, and inclusions completely identical. Under the updated system, the former Expedition tier is now the Premium Drinks Package, the Explorer option is renamed the Classic Drinks Package, and the alcohol-free Experience tier becomes the Non-Alcoholic Package.

The line confirms that all existing benefits remain fully intact. The Non-Alcoholic option covers sodas, mocktails, and alcohol-free beers, while the Classic tier introduces house wines by the glass and standard brand spirits alongside a fifty percent discount on premium beverages. The comprehensive Premium option opens up top-tier wines, specialty coffees, and specialty bar brands. Crucially, onboard service gratuities continue to be bundled into all three adult choices.

Booking rules and policies also remain consistent, including pre-purchase discounts available up to seven days prior to departure and cabin-sharing guidelines. By introducing these intuitive titles, Ambassador ensures that passengers can easily identify their preferred beverage level before setting sail.
