Princess Cruises is officially returning to the iconic 138th Rose Parade on January 1, 2027, marking its second consecutive year participating in America’s famous New Year celebration. The leading cruise line will bring the Pasadena Tournament of Roses official theme, “Welcome,” to life through a spectacular, destination-inspired float titled “Welcome Aboard – Find Your Story.” Designed to celebrate global connection, discovery, and cultural appreciation, the float reflects the warm hospitality Princess has provided to travelers across all seven continents for over six decades.

Crafted by Artistic Entertainment Services, the magnificent float will span roughly 55 feet in length and 22 feet in height. It will feature extraordinary floral craftsmanship, utilizing more than 320,000 live flowers, seeds, bark, leaves, and other natural materials. Dynamic floral textures and vivid animation will highlight several of Princess Cruises’ most popular world destinations. Viewers will glimpse the towering glaciers of Alaska, the delicate cherry blossoms and serene temples of Japan, the iconic Sydney Opera House and Outback wildlife of Australia, alongside the historic coastal villages of Europe.

The Rose Parade attracts nearly 800,000 live spectators along Pasadena’s Colorado Boulevard and reaches tens of millions of viewers globally on television.
