Capitalizing on a strong surge in China’s outbound travel market, Viking China announced that these landmark itineraries will launch, marking the cruise industry’s first Northern European sailings designed specifically for Chinese-speaking guests.
The new ocean offerings feature a 15-day journey from Oslo to Stockholm navigating the Norwegian fjords, Nordic capitals, and historic trade routes, as well as a 14-day voyage along Europe’s Atlantic coast from Lisbon to Oslo. Viking China will also introduce destination land extensions in cities like Reykjavik and offer epic grand voyages, including a 60-day itinerary spanning 18 countries.
Marking a decade of operating Chinese-language European river cruises, Viking is simultaneously expanding its inland fleet. The company plans to increase its tailored Viking Longships in Europe to six, offering 17 distinct itineraries across 11 nations. Among these is a new 15-day Rhine and Moselle voyage covering 14 historical cities across Germany, France, Luxembourg, and Switzerland.
