  • Commemoration of Seabourn’s 40th anniversary milestones
  • Early booking discounts and business class amenities

Seabourn has revealed its 2028 “Cape to Cape” world cruise, a 120-day expedition aboard the Seabourn Quest designed to celebrate the cruise line’s 40th anniversary. Scheduled to depart from Miami on January 7, 2028, the voyage will cover more than 26,000 nautical miles and visit over 50 destinations across five continents. The itinerary includes a transit through the Panama Canal, echoing the company’s inaugural sailing, and stops in remote regions such as Antarctica, the Falkland Islands, and Easter Island.

A notable feature of this world cruise is the integration of expedition-style experiences, which is a first for Seabourn’s global itineraries. An 18-person expert team will lead guests through immersive activities, particularly in the Chilean Fjords and Antarctica. These offerings include complimentary Zodiac excursions and guided hikes, alongside optional kayaking tours. Additionally, the route features several maiden calls for the Seabourn fleet, providing access to locations that are rarely visited by traditional luxury ocean vessels.

Travelers have the option of completing the full 120-day journey to Dover, London, or a shorter 112-day segment ending in Lisbon. The package includes various high-end amenities, such as business class airfare, upgraded internet access, and significant shipboard credits. To incentivize early interest, the company is offering a ten percent discount for bookings made before January 30, 2026. This voyage represents a strategic blend of the brand’s traditional small-ship luxury with the growing market demand for adventure and expedition travel.
