Holland America Line (HAL) is set to make its debut in the 99th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27 in New York City. The cruise line will feature an Alaska-themed float intended to showcase its deep connection to the region and its commitment to sharing Alaska’s beauty with travelers.

Performing on the float will be Alaska native and multi-platinum musical artist Jewel. HAL’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kacy Cole, stated that Jewel’s artistry authentically captures the spirit and sense of adventure that defines Alaska. The float’s design will incorporate striking elements reflective of Alaska’s glaciers and native wildlife. Furthermore, the design will highlight HAL’s Global Fresh Fish Program, emphasizing the cruise line’s distinction as the only one certified to bring sustainable fresh seafood directly from Alaskan fishermen aboard its ships.
