PortMiami, recognized as the world’s busiest cruise port, is set to welcome ten new cruise ships for the 2025-2026 season, showcasing continued growth and strong partnerships with major cruise lines. Five of these debuting vessels are new builds, indicating a significant investment in the cruise industry’s future at this hub. The new ships will begin making their Miami debuts from October 2025 through May 2026.

The new arrivals include Cunard Line’s Queen Elizabeth and Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady in October 2025. November will see the debuts of Holland America’s Zuiderdam, Celebrity Cruises’ new Celebrity Xcel, and Oceania Cruises’ Allura. MSC Cruises’ Grandiosa will conclude the 2025 debuts in December. The momentum continues into 2026 with Windstar Cruises’ Star Seeker in January, Holland America’s Eurodam in February, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Luna in March, and Silversea Cruises’ Silver Nova in May. These additions will bring thousands of new guests and expanded itinerary options to the “Cruise Capital of the World.”

PortMiami’s Director and CEO, Hydi Webb, emphasized that these new arrivals highlight the port’s strong partnerships and reinforce its status as a premier cruise destination. The port has demonstrated its capability to manage high volumes, evidenced by a record-breaking 8.2 million passengers in the 2023-2024 season and a historic day in February 2025 when it handled ten ships and nearly 68,000 guests with ease.

In anticipation of this growth, PortMiami is undergoing significant infrastructure expansion. Construction for a new Royal Caribbean Terminal began in July 2025, designed to accommodate up to 7,000 passengers and host larger Icon-Class vessels like Icon of the Seas and Legend of the Seas. This follows the opening of the new MSC Terminal, currently the world’s largest cruise terminal, in April 2025. These developments underscore PortMiami’s commitment to maintaining its leadership in the global cruise industry.
